Syracuse police ask public for help finding missing 76-year-old man with dementia

Syracuse, N.Y. — Syracuse police are asking the public for help finding an 76-year-old man who went missing Thursday afternoon.
Charles Santoro was last seen leaving Upstate Community Hospital around 4 p.m., Syracuse police said. He left the hospital in a 2017 Grey Nissan Armada with New York license plate GKN-7865. He was wearing a grey jacket and blue jeans, police said.
He is 5 feet, 10 inches tall, of medium build, with grey hair, brown eyes and a grey mustache. Santoro has been diagnosed with dementia and diabetes, police said.
Police ask anyone with information on the whereabouts of Santoro to call 911 or the Syracuse Police Department Criminal Investigations Division at 315-442-5222.
